We are PAWS Web Radio, and we are strong

To Adelphi, our advertisers, fans and to PAWS;

PAWS has been moving forward at incredible speed: a website re-design, a brand new bunch of DJs ready to record, a new and fresh Executive Board, new equipment, new services and our first IBS license has made things possible for this station that I hope my predecessors look at and smile at.

That being said is such a huge claim for an organization that only a couple of years ago was something barely anyone ever heard of, had little to no self-promotion and was nothing close to what a college radio station should be. Flash forward to today and when one looks at the organization one can see something that looks more professional, shows love for the Adelphi community in this rough time, and that shows significant progress beyond my tenure as President.

I am proud of our accomplishments:
* We've set up a way of making our DJs better and figuring out how to use our members to the best of their abilities to be useful to PAWS Web Radio.
* PAWS Web Radio has become innovative as a web radio station: utilizing the power of the web to create YouTube.com/PAWSWebRadio and therefore teaching the community and our members that radio itself is evolving.
* We've created a constitution which maintains the delicate balance between Adelphi community standards and being an organization.
* Our Newsroom has become successful.
* We instill a sense of responsibility in our members by creating and encouraging them to work on teams such as Marketing, Management, Web team, Newsroom and of course being DJs.
* PAWS Web Radio has received its license from IBS.

There's so much we've done and when every now and then I personally look back at what the organization was to what it is now. After that I say to myself, "We've done well for ourselves, but we're still not done."

And no, whoever you are reading this--we are not done. We will continue to innovate. On that note, I'd like to draw your attention to a services we offer you. They can be seen at our Advertise page and I encourage you to take advantage of them in these harsh economic times.
